The call for submissions was opened from March 1 to May, 2013
A final round of programs will be pre-selected by the Jury: from May 28 to May 31, 2013
Screening day for selected S3D programs : June 20 at the Cercle Rouge -TSF
Dimension 3 Festival ceremony : June 20 evening on Paris
Selection & screening media
Media accepted: Blu-ray, USB, DVD-R, CD-R, hard drives (Type Fat32, NTFS or EXT2)
S3D competition
Productions participating in the S3D must be delivered in priority in the DCP ISO TC36 sterreoscopic standard 24 fps and 25 fps per eye (JPEG2000) in order to be screened on a large screen through a DCinema compatible digital server, if possible with a side-by-side version (in order to ease the pre-selection process)
3D productions participating in the competition in categories: Live filming (Concert - Sports - Events) and S3D Fiction - TV Content. And all programs that can be delivered in DCP can be sent in the following formats:
Side by Side Full Frame MPEG or Motion JPEG (left and right eyes)
Codecs: H.264, MPEG, Motion JPEG or VC-1 AVI
4K competition
Productions participating in the 4K Competition must be primarily delivered in the standard:
DCP plus a Quicktime file or Blu-ray to facilitate the organization of the selection.
