The new dimensions of images

An association created in 2004, the Club HD is think tank that gathers professionals from all branches of the audio-visual sector, with an aim to promote and protect their expertise and professions, to respect the quality of audio-visual programs, and to encourage better comprehension as well as the discovery of new technologies, both existing and upcoming (HD, 4K, 3D, Ultra HD…).

The Club HD talks with public, national and European institutions in order to promote the economic development of a production chain dedicated to innovating programs. The Club HD aims at giving international recognition to professionals on the French sectors of creation and technical industries.

This is achieved through information sessions, conferences, and events involving members of the association and market players: producers, manufacturers, publishers, technical contractors, broadcasters, national and European public bodies.

The Club HD encourages communication between its members on one hand, and industrial players, content producers, broadcasters, public authorities and institutions on the other hand. It offers counseling services and can contribute to the development of standards in order to facilitate the deployment of new techniques in Europe, in collaboration with the relevant technical organizations.

The Club HD is present on international events and conferences relevant to its missions and fields of activity (tech shows, content shows), in addition to which is organizes its own events.

The Club HD analyzes the influence of available and upcoming new technologies on the creation processes, the economics of the audio-visual market, and new modes of distribution for digital content.

The Club HD produces communication media to keep its members informed on ongoing actions and technological innovations. These can be offered as booklets, websites, demos…
